# Breeding

### Introduction

In **KTTY World** Tamers will  have the ability to **breed** KTTYs, creating entirely new generations with **unique traits and potential**. This mechanic introduces an exciting **genetic system**, where players can experiment with lineage, inheritance, and class evolution to build **one-of-a-kind KTTY companions**.

**KTTY Types**

* **Generation 1 KTTYs** – These are the **original KTTYs**, which can be **minted as NFTs**. They serve as the **foundation of the KTTY ecosystem** and are essential for the breeding process.
* **Generation 2 KTTYs & Beyond** – The next generations of KTTYs will be obtained **exclusively through breeding**, encouraging players to develop their own unique lineages over time.

### **How Breeding Works**

The **breeding system** allows two compatible KTTYs to **combine their traits**, producing a **new KTTY with inherited attributes**. The specifics of breeding will be designed to introduce **an element of strategy, rarity, and discovery**. Key mechanics include:

* **Trait Inheritance** – Offspring will have a chance to **inherit skills, stats, or visual features** from their parent KTTYs.
* **Class & Ability Potential** – A bred KTTY may gain access to **special class combinations**, allowing for unique ability lineages.
* **Mutation & Rare Variants** – Occasionally, breeding may result in **unexpected mutations**, introducing new and **rare attributes or appearances**.

### **The Future of KTTY Breeding**

As **KTTY World** evolves, breeding will serve as a **core mechanic for long-term engagement and player-driven discovery**. With time, new **breeding rules, hidden traits, and special cross-breeding events** may emerge, keeping the system fresh and rewarding for dedicated Tamers.
